In our cosy event saloon we serve local wines. You may use our veranda in the sunshine.

 

For a successful start in the morning we expect you with our rich breakfast buffet. In the restaurant we offer you local and internal cuisine and wines from the Saxon county. For a very special ambient we fire up the fire place.

We put a high value on regionality and quality and cooperate with companies from Meißen and its surrounding area. Share the joy with us and get an exciting insight into the world of senses.

Brewing means craft and brewing means tradition – the Private Brewery Schwerter in Meissen has build its reputation on these – the oldest private brewery in Saxony. From the origin up to the taste the brewed beers belong to the Meißner landscape. Hops coming from the specified region Elbe-Saale and Spalt, barley delivered from farmers in the Meißen county and new ideas for the seasonal consumption of beer are brought by the domestic tradition. Feel free to enjoy a freshly tapped Schwerter Pils or other beer specialities like Maibock, Elbsommer, Bennator Bockbeer in our restaurant or in the SKY-Bar of the Private Brewery Schwerter.

 

Welcome in germanys smallest wine-growing region, Saxony! A good wine results from the interplay of the vineyard, the climat and the handicraft businesses run by those people, who bring the grapes in our glasses. A prime example for sustainable viticulture is the Winery Schloss Proschwitz Prinz zur Lippe.

The wine-growing estate's basements do not only bear wholehearted wines of different grape varities , the base is mainly the endeavour of Dr. Georg Prince zur Lippe, who is putting a lot of effort in keeping the vineyards balance as close to nature as possible to provide a sustainable continuation of the wine-growing for prospective generations. The famous wine-growing estate Vincenz Richter has also got a fixed place in our wine menu. Try and enjoy is the motto of our wine testing event moderated by our director and sommelier Hannes Horsch!
